Our SECOND Pillar: ACTIVATE

Dear Reader,

Here is the second blog of three I’m writing to tell you about Pro-Life Wisconsin’s vital work and invite you to be a part of our GivingTuesday* efforts! This Monday and next, I will be sharing with you how your gift impacts what we do here in light of one of our three pillars: Educate. Legislate. Activate.

Leonardo da Vinci once said: “Iron rusts from disuse; stagnant water loses its purity and in cold weather becomes frozen; even so does inaction sap the vigor of the mind.”

Like any great structure, there must be a strong foundation. Our 2nd pillar helps us avoid the stagnation da Vinci refers to and provides the strength we need to push on: ACTIVISM.

Inaction is the death of non-profits and activism-oriented organizations. Thankfully, at Pro-Life Wisconsin we have ample opportunities for you to get involved. It can be volunteering, attending events, or even proclaiming the pro-life message with our materials. Activism is a large part of what we do, and we would not be who we are without you!

If you have yet to be activated for the cause, investigate what we have to offer. From the March for Life D.C. Bus Trip to our Spring Social, to our Fall Gathering, to the March for Life Wisconsin, and to our Love for Life Gala…those are only a few of the events we put on throughout the calendar year that you can get involved with (to see a full list, please view our Events tab on our website ProLifeWI.org/events).

And there are many ways to get involved right where you are! Pro-Life Wisconsin affiliate groups are present in many Wisconsin communities to help build a culture of life at the local level. To learn more and get involved, visit ProLifeWI.org/affiliates. There, you can find affiliate meetings and special events.

Without volunteers praying outside abortion centers. marching at the our state and federal capitols, or aiding us at our events, we would crumble. When organizations lose their fight, their energy, and their activism, they die. Know that when you give to Pro-Life Wisconsin, your gift puts faith and pro-life values INTO ACTION. We are grateful to call you a friend of Pro-Life Wisconsin and want you to be activated for the pro-life cause, because transforming the culture of our state begins with dedicated efforts of people just like you.

*What is GivingTuesday?

GivingTuesday is a day of thanksgiving for the work done by nonprofits, and it takes place every year on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving Day. On this day, supporters of these organizations are invited to share generously by donating to the important work being done by these organizations, including Pro-Life Wisconsin. Last year’s GivingTuesday campaign raised over $15,000 to help us promote the right to life in Wisconsin. Please join us in 2025 as we raise the funds to continue our mission with your help.
