1. What is the biggest issue you’re hearing from your constituents?

As the Chairman of the Regulatory Licensing Reform Committee, I have probably heard the most complaints from people all over the state trying to get their occupational licenses from the backlogged Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS).

2. If you were given the opportunity to enact one reform, what would it be?

Universal License Recognition and 3rd Party Licensing so workers can get right to work without governmental delays.

3. Tell us something that people don’t know about you?

When I was 16, I led horseback rides in the badlands of South Dakota.
