If you’re hosting Christmas Eve, are you ready to make it truly meaningful for young, old, and in-between? Consider some activities that will, in fun and creative ways, keep Jesus as the focus. For instance, cut stars out of cardstock and have each family member write a name for Jesus on an ornament, such as Savior, Emmanuel, Prince of Peace, Lord, and so forth. Then hang the ornaments on the tree. Or read the Christmas account from Luke and have family members act out the roles. Even small things can make a lasting memory and reinforce the truth of this season.

Life gets so busy this time of year, and with Christmas Eve on Sunday, meaningful celebrations outside of church are a bit more challenging timewise. But with a little planning, a few activities that involve everyone can help reduce some stress because the focus is on the One Whose coming we are celebrating.
